Our client has a unique opportunity to be the social media lead for some of Australia’s most recognised brands in the interiors, architectural and DIY categories.Initially a six-month fixed term contract, this is a rare opportunity that will see you accountable for managing the client’s social media strategy as well as developing high-impact content and managing a large online community. Working from both client and agency bases, you will lead the implementation of the social media strategy for multiple brands across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and other platforms. Additionally, you will manage all allocated budgets to augment social campaigns; at times interfacing with client’s media buyers for larger spends.You will be required to provide monthly assessments and reports on all things social, working closely with the client’s agencies spanning PR, creative, digital, media and POS. You will attend trade shows and industry events and ‘report on’/author – via blogs and other social media content – key trends, insights and news. Critical to the role will be aligning with the client’s social media language, tone and style guide.
Presenting with relevant tertiary qualifications, you will have experience in the following skill set – online publishing, media, social, blogging or digital. Further, you are a hands on and highly strategic practitioner with a consultative and analytical bias, coupled with a history of building successful online communities. You must also have a demonstrated passion for interior design and colour.
