We currently have an exciting opportunity available to join our dynamic buying team.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
o Maintaining detailed awareness of category performance, opportunities and gaps through data analysis and acting quickly to pursue opportunities to drive sales
and maximise customer satisfaction
o Researching and understanding Australian furniture trends to source the best suppliers and range that is priced competitively, is fresh and relevant, and meets our sourcing, quality, support and financial objectives
o Implementing key account management plans to maximise supplier performance and ensure Temple & Webster is the online retailer of choice (includes product exclusivity, range development, pricing and supply terms and marketing initiatives)
o Extensive use of excel for data analysis and preparation of product and pricing information with the highest attention to detail
o Driving sales through well executed promotions that deliver outstanding value to customers and maximise market share
o Working with creative, content and marketing teams to ensure the highest possible standard of presentation and accurate information on site
o Working with customer care and operations teams to ensure the highest possible standard of customer satisfaction
Preferable Experience
To be successful in this role you will have at least 2 years’ experience in furniture buying, ideally in an online environment. The ideal candidate will also be highly organized in a fast paced environment, data driven in their thinking, a great communicator and team player.
